Condition of Items for sale
Most of the items that we sell at DaDa2RaRa are anything from 30 to 80 years old and will inevitably show the signs of wear and tear you that would expect from something of that age and pre-owned. Please do not expect any items to look brand new!, unless they are advertised as such.
We will endeavour to describe items for sale as accurately as possible and what we consider to be a fault, damage or wear will always be brought to your attention. Please take the time to study the photographs of our items carefully as these form part of the description and will often highlight areas of damage or wear that you should be aware of before making a purchase.
All goods sold at DaDa2RaRa are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, which allows for a seven day ‘cooling off’ period during which you may cancel your order (in writing) by sending us a letter, fax or e-mail at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which you received your purchase.
Goods must be returned to DaDa2RaRa within 14 days after date of receiving the item, for a full refund or exchange, provided that the goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.
Please note – we are happy to refund items returned within 14 days however we do not refund postage/delivery costs on items.
The delivery cost of your order will be determined by weight.
Orders up to 2kg will be sent with Royal Mail and orders over 2kg will be sent via courier and will need to be signed for. You can include any special delivery instructions when you place your order, but please note that should you request that a parcel be left without a signature, then this is done so at your own risk and we will not be able to process any subsequent claim for loss or damage.
For UK mainland destinations only:
We do not currently ship to international destinations or the Channel Islands.
For UK non-mainland and Northern Ireland please contact us for a quote for P&P. Please note that delivery to very remote areas may also be subject to a surcharge.
Delivery times will normally be between 2 – 5 working days. We aim to despatch all orders within 3 working days – where this is not possible we will get in touch with you to let you know.
Collection in Person
If you prefer you may collect your order in person – we are based in Burford West Oxfordshire. If you are local to the area or want to combine picking up your item with a visit to the Cotswolds, then you can select the “Collect in Person” delivery option on the checkout page. Once your order has been placed we will get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time.
We try where possible to use biodegradable or recycled packaging, so please be aware that if your item arrives in packaging that looks like it has been used before then that is the reason why. Using recycled packaging helps the environment and also helps to keep postage and packing costs to a minimum.
Please inform us about any items that arrive damaged within 24 hours of delivery. After this time we cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported.
DaDa2RaRa will not disclose customer information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment to our payment provider, PayPal, or to one of the courier services we use for delivery. In these cases, the third parties will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Data collected by this site is used to:
- Take and fulfill customer orders
- Administer and enhance the site and service
- Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
We do not store any financial details (credit or debit card numbers). When financial details are entered by a customer during a transaction that information is protected by 128-bit encryption via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and are passed directly and securely to our payment provider, PayPal.
We will not contact you without your permission unless a) you sign up to our email newsletter or b) to discuss any aspect of any order with you to ensure it is fulfilled to your satisfaction.
You agree that email correspondence with us, satisfies any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
